Former TCU Presidents at the Inaugural Meeting of the Gavel Society in May 2005

Welcome to the Gavel Society, the official Alumni Group for anyone who has ever been a member of the Tufts Community Union Senate!

We have created this group to organize a collection of alumni who worked to better student life while at Tufts and will therefore continue these efforts past their time on the Hill.

The second purpose of this group is evident in the following website, the Senate Alumni Network, which will allow Senate alums to reconnect with one another. We see this site as a means to facilitate communication between current Senators and alums about issues on campus or professional interests and aspirations. Additionally, check the Alumni Network site again, as we will be making additions in the coming months and will also use it to announce upcoming events either on or off-campus.

As we try to expand this Network as much as possible, please encourage your fellow Senators to register and please inform us if someone you know on Senate did not receive an e-mail invitation to join.
